Hello! Welcome to Edits 101—we’re thrilled to have you here! My name is Maria, and I’m an author with a Master’s degree in the Arts. I’ve always been fascinated by different forms of art, which naturally led me into the world of graphic design and video editing.

What Led Me to Start Writing About Design?

Creativity has always been my strong suit, and I’ve been drawn to drawing, writing, and craft-making since I was young. Although I started with traditional hand-made art, I gradually became interested in digital art. After completing my Master’s, I took online courses to dive deeper into graphic design and video editing.

Meeting Curt, my partner and an experienced graphic designer, further fuelled my interest in the field. Together, we created Edits 101 to share our knowledge with others. Our combined expertise allows us to offer a holistic perspective on design, making our tutorials suitable for learners of all levels.

What Do I Do in My Spare Time?

I’m very active and enjoy training to refresh my mind and stay healthy. Staying fit is a crucial part of my overall well-being, and I love challenging myself to always improve.

One of my other passions is fantasy art, whether it’s in literature, visual arts, or television. Fantasy art helps expand my creativity and imagination—there’s no limit to what you can create when your mind is free and inspired.
