Hi there, thank you for visiting Edits 101! We welcome you to our platform where you can learn all you need to know about design!

My name is Maria and I have a Master’s degree in the Arts. I find all types of art fascinating and that is why I have developed this interest for graphic design and video editing!

About me

I have spent more than 6 years studying various Arts disciplines at the University of Malta, including History, History of Art, Archaeology and others. Do check out my Linkedin profile.

Creativity and imagination were always my forte. My passion is to draw, write, making crafts and creating new stuff out of anything. While I was mainly drawn to creating art by hand, digital art gradually started to pique my interest.

That is why after I finished my Masters, I started to follow online courses in order to learn more about graphic design and video editing. This interest continued to grow as I met my partner Curt who is a graphic designer with a lot of experience in the field.

That is why we decided to create Edits101 in order to share our knowledge and experience about design with the world. Our distinct viewpoints allow us to provide a more holistic perspective towards design and tailor-made tutorials for everyone, regardless of their level of knowledge on the subject.

I am a very active person and training helps me to refresh my mind and also feel good about myself. Being healthy is extremely important for my well-being and I also enjoy challenging myself. Perseverance and determination are key to always improve and get better at what you do!

My other passion is in fantasy art, in all the forms it may come- literature, visual, television and others. It helps me to expand my imagination and creativity. There is no limit to what you can create when your mind is inspired and free.
