Are you ready for another exciting drawing? Today, we will draw a cement mixture truck.
Ready-mixed concrete is delivered to a construction site by a concrete truck, an agitator truck, a cement truck, or a transit mixer. A specialized company supplies the mixing drum and mechanics, while the trucks are constructed on typical truck frames. A cement truck that is completely loaded might easily exceed 60,000 lbs. A spinning barrel is used to mix concrete on the truck’s chassis. While being delivered, the concrete liquid is kept in the barrel. Blades located inside the barrel stir the substance as it rotates.

How To Draw a Cement Mixer Truck
Are you guys ready for an amazing drawing experience while learning new things? All you have to do is follow each step carefully. By doing that, you will have a perfect drawing.
Step1: Draw the wheels
In our very first step, we will use the wheels of our cement mixer. Draw two circles on both sides of the paper to make the wheels. You can create perfect circles by positioning the compass’s sharper end where you want the wheel to be. Another option is to use a little disc or a circular bottle cap.
If any of the items mentioned above are unavailable, you shouldn’t panic. We’ll show you how to draw a circle freely. Put a dot where you want your wheel to be, and then four more dots (top, bottom, and left, right) around it. Remember that these dots will be equally spaced from our reference dot. Create curved lines to join all of these dots together. Draw another wheel using the same procedure. The rim is created by drawing a tiny concentric circle inside the wheels.
Step 2: Draw the body baseline
Now, we will draw the body baseline of the cement mixer. To make the baseline, draw a horizontal rectangle crossing the wheels as in the image. To make the rectangle, draw two horizontal parallel lines. These lines will be drawn over the wheels. Make the left corner of the rectangle curved, and for the right corner, join it with a small vertical line. There you have it, a baseline for our cement truck.
Step 3: Draw the head
The head of the cement mixer truck is the part where the truck operates, and the driver sits. To make the head of the truck, draw a square-like shape on the front part of the cement mixer truck. The base of the square will be bent or curved over the wheel, and the front part will also be a little bent.
We are halfway done with our drawing. Keep up the good work, and you will finish it quickly.
Step 4: Draw the back part of the body
The back is the part of the truck where the cement mixer is present. It is very ready to draw. All you have to do is make a horizontal rectangle lying on the truck’s rear wheel. The base of the rectangle will be curved along the rear wheel. This back part will be connected with the front head of the truck.
Step 5: Draw the mixer
In this step, we will draw a very important part, the cement mixer. A concrete mixer is a machine that mixes cement, gravel, and water uniformly to create concrete. A rotating drum is typically used in concrete mixers to mix the ingredients. So, this is a drum on the back of the truck. This step looks complicated, but we are here to guide you. To make the mixer, draw an oval diagonally on the back of the truck. Make the upper part of the oval straight by erasing the curved part. To keep your mixer firm and steady, we must attach it to the truck. For that, draw three pairs of vertical parallel lines connecting the back of the truck and the mixer. For detailing, make two narrow rectangles around the oval shape. It will look like rings around the mixer.
Step 6: Draw the window and the door
Draw the cabin window and door by making quadrilateral, as shown in the diagram. The base will be curved because of the space taken by the wheel. After drawing the shape, extend a horizontal line in the center of this shape to distinguish between the door and the window. You can also make the door handle for some detailing by drawing a small rectangle on the door.
Step 7: Your Cement mixer truck is ready
Good job! Your drawing is complete. Give yourself a pat for doing a wonderful drawing. As mentioned in the steps, we are so excited and hopeful that you created a spectacular image. You can make mistakes when drawing, so give it another look after completion. If it doesn’t look right, erase it and make it better; then, use an outliner to make it look better.
Wait to put your things away. The real magic is about to begin. We will make your drawing from looking like a drawing to a masterpiece picture.
Taking your Cement Mixer Truck drawing to the next level
Developing your abilities, attempting novel approaches, and experimenting with various styles are necessary to advance your drawing. Remember that developing as an artist is a process rather than a goal. Be kind to yourself, continue to be inquisitive, and keep pushing the envelope. Take pleasure in the act of making art and expressing yourself through it. If you want to make an image more original, you can always add your thoughts. Your enhanced self-confidence and idea-filled mind will also raise your willingness to produce more original work. We will add colors and backgrounds to our drawing in the following steps.
Adding background to your drawing
The composition of the drawing can be balanced with a well-designed background. It can serve as a point of reference for the spectator and foster harmony between the subject and its surroundings. Background information is essential to a good narrative. They can include further details about the story, including the day of the week, the time of year, or a specific location. It may enable the audience to receive a more thorough report. A complete and precise backdrop is necessary for realistic or representational art to convey the illusion of reality successfully. It aids in placing the subject in a plausible setting.
You can draw a road track for our cement mixer truck, which might take cement somewhere. You can draw other cars around it with space on your paper. You can also draw a footpath beside the road with bushes or small plants. You can make a traffic at the side of the if you like.
Adding colors to your drawing
Now is the time for you to express your creative side. Utilize your artistic talents to the fullest when coloring your drawing. Including color in your picture will make it more vibrant and alive. With color, the image seems full of life and exciting. We need to color it so it looks lively and new.
Do you guys also realize that coloring is a healthy method to unwind? It encourages physical relaxation while reducing mental stress. Heart rate, breathing, and depressive and anxious thoughts can all aid with sleep and fatigue and reduce physical pain. Crayons, poster paint, markers, or pencils can be used to color it. Everything is up to individual taste. Clean, exact coloring is the key to a good drawing.
You should use any color you want for your truck. You can color it with bright colors like red, blue, or green. You can use blue for the windows and light blue for the sky. For the road tack, you can use either grey or white color. By merging and mixing, you can use different shades of colors to give an artistic effect to your drawing.
P.S. Bonus Tips
We’ve finished our drawing, and we hope you liked it as much as we did. There are no restrictions on one’s imagination, as was previously said. Any improvement can be made to the drawing. Although we provided a background and some colors, there is still more you can do.
You can make designs or patterns on the truck body, like drawing patterns or writing cement trucks. These are very few ideas, but as we know, we can do anything, so don’t limit yourself to ideas.
Our drawing is all ready now. It was a fun and easy process. We’re sure you followed each step without skipping and made a fantastic drawing. We made the wheels and drew the truck’s baseline, front and back parts, mixer, window, and door.
The more you sketch, the better you’ll get, and the more ideas will come to you. Remember that sketching is a smart and creative approach to expressing yourself. Keeping them in mind will be quite beneficial in ensuring that the artwork is yours. You should always keep going, so if you’re unhappy with the outcomes, you can try again.
